Bullfighting

Spanish people love bullfightings. The season starts during the spring and last until the summer. We were able to enjoy one of the last events. Eventhough you need to have some knowledge about the event and have attended many of them before you start appreciating them, our students enjoyed it.

Pilate's House

This XVI century magnificent palace was inspired by the Pontius Pilate's house in Jerusalem. The architecture of the palace combined Roman arches with Muslim tiles.

We visited Italica, a Roman city close to Seville, founded in 206 BC. Two of the most famous Roman Emperors, Trajan and Hadrian, were born there.

Learning to walk

NVC students are learning that most European cities are structered for walking everywhere, to the school, to their appartments, to restaurants... They only depend on their own feet to get wherever they need!

Most bars in Seville show their great passion for bullfightings. They have great tapas for a very good price. One of the most famous tapa is the bull tail. But the girls did not order it.

Our guide from the school is explaining the constant mixture of cultures in Seville's architecture. The Gothic Cathedral of Seville--the biggest one in the world-- kept the Muslim tower from an older Mosque.

Planning our afternoon activities.
NVC students have classes of Spanish every morning from 9 to 1. After classes they have lunch and, then, they return to the school for cultural activities such as cooking, flamenco or film classes. The school provides with numerous optional classes, excursions and visits to museums and monuments everyday during the evening.
